Pickled Peaches

BC-LogoPickled Peaches is one that Marla’s grandmother has passed down to her daughters and now to her granddaughters

1    No. 2 1/2 can of Peach Halves
1     Tablespoon of Cider Vinegar
1-2    Cinnamon sticks
1    Teaspoon of whole cloves
1    Tablespoon of sugar

Combine the peaches (do not drain), vinegar, cloves, cinnamon sticks and sugar in a sauce pan.  Heat to a boil.  Reduce heat to a simmer for 5 minutes.  Allow the peaches to cool slightly then transfer all to a sealed container and refrigerate.  (These peaches are best made a day in advance to allow the flavors to completely blend.)
